Gal Sherbelis
was the Founder and has been CEO of GSDesign since its inception in 1997.
Gal is a leading, worldwide expert in Moldflow simulation consulting in the plastics injection
molding process and stress analysis. He provides consultation to leading, Startups and small
companies across all markets around the globe, that include Elbit, Rafael, Keter and Teva.
Additionally, from 1997 to 2005, Gal was the Moldflow Consultant and Representative and MPX
Field Manager in Europe. In this capacity, he managed and lead a team of engineers in Europe to
develop strategic technical partnerships and implement Moldflow’s MPX product into early
market adopters such as Nokia, Crysler, VW, Mont Blanc, FCI and Valeo.
Prior to this Gal worked at the Moldflow Corporation in Melbourne, Australia for nine years, in
various roles, culminating as General Manager of Processing. As such, he was responsible for the
beta program of the MPX system with installations at Ford, Amp, Ube and Fisher Pykel, as well as
developing strategic partnerships with GE, Dupont, Dow, Sumitomo, Asahi and LG Electronics etc.
Before this, as Manager of Material Testing, Gal lead a team of polymer engineers to develop
unique methods for measurement of polymers to heighten the accuracy of the software. He was
also responsible for the principle development of Moldflow’s MF/GAS product. (A product that
filled a niche market for companies involved with the gas assisted injection molding process).
Gal has a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, graduating with High Distinction from the Technion -
Israel Institute of Technology, Israel.
